How you got here

Membership is by invitation. An invitation is addressed to one person, works once, and lasts fourteen days; passing it on doesn’t transfer it, because the account it opens is yours and is expected to stay one person’s.

What you get, and what it costs in time

The Monday edition12 min
The same edition, read aloud3 min
The diagnostic, once90 sec
One question a week30 sec

Answering the weekly question is what unlocks other members’ answers to it. That is the only thing in here that asks something of you, and skipping it costs you nothing else.

What I ask of you

Don’t republish another member’s answer with their name on it. Forward the edition freely — it is written to be forwarded — and share anything you made with it. That is the whole list.

Ending it

The email stops with one click in any edition’s footer, no page and no reason. Closing the account itself is a reply to an email today, not a button — the same gap Privacy states, and it is done by hand inside a month. I can also end a membership, and if I ever do it you’ll get the reason in writing.

What this isn’t

It isn’t advice you should act on without your own judgement, and it comes with no uptime promise — one person runs it, and the Lab publishes what actually happened rather than a number I’d have to defend. Where something breaks and it cost you money, the most I can be liable for is what you paid, which is nothing.
